Kolyai. The origin of Kolyai is north of Songhor in western Iran and belongs to the province of Kermanshah. Kolyai carpets are mostly knotted by Iranians. The quality of Kolyais is generally very firm and has a relatively high pile. They are knotted from good mountain sheep wool.
